You need to do 3 things: Lift weights, cardio or high intensity interval training, and eat a well balanced diet.
I would suggest a total body workout 3 times a week.
Cardio should be done 4 to 5 times a week and you could replace 2 to 3 of those cardio sessions with high intensity interval training.
You should also be eating a well balanced diet including lean proteins, vegetables, whole grains, fruits, and healthy fats.
Ideally eating 5 to 6 small meals a day.
You need to figure out how many calories you need to lose fat. You can do that online by doing a search for calorie calculator.

Try some basic diet changes!
Start out eating only natural foods. Today, it is so easy to get food that is processed twice or three times over, frozen and then given to you! The body is not equipped to know how to deal with that food because it isn't natural. So, just by giving your body an all natural diet of legitimate fruits and vegetables, whole grains and lean protein you will see a significant difference. The body knows exactly what to do with natural foods that are already found in nature. A good rule of thumb for eating is to use smaller plate sizes and make your plate be 1/2 vegetables, 1/4 fruits and 1/4 protein. Though keep in mind that protein at every meal is not necessary and should be avoided.
Then of course, exercise! In conjunction with eating right, do exercise. If you haven't exercised much before, start out with a rapid pace walk. Increase your distance each day! Then of course do some crunches of different varieties and push-ups!
A healthy natural diet and exercising well will always lead to results!

| I'm "pleasantly plump" as some might say. i think being fat has pretty much screwed my life up. I'm 14, and its the absolute worst time to be fat. all of my better looking peers always show off their bodies at pool parties etc. And theres always one jerk who has to say something like "lets hope he doesn't take his shirt off". And currently, i haven't been able to deal with it. But back to the question, people make fun of others simply because they are cruel. |
My mum keeps calling me fat and i feel like ******* smashing something...? im tired of it. my mum calls me fat (im average) then she ******* tells me to eat more. she calls me fat in public every ******* where im done with it. then she says aweful ******* stuff like " you used to be skinnier close your mouth stop eating" in public (even if im eating fruit for my body) wtf is wrong with her.. god dammit |
| I don't think screaming at your mom is going to solve the problem. It is a parents job to build their guy's self esteem, not humiliate them and insult them. If she doesn't know this already, you may not be able to change her. But I would ask her why she constantly calls you fat and tell her how that makes you feel about her. Most mothers wouldn't want to alienate their own guy. Is your mom overweight? Could she be afraid you will end up like her? It is still not an excuse for her behavior. When a guy is told they are fat constantly, they can start to believe it and it can destroy their self image or even create an eating disorder. I understand your anger. My mom said things like that to me when I was young and now I have grown guyren and I still haven't forgotten it. I wish I would have said something to her about it at the time. I don't know how old you are but I was a young teenager. I was not overweight at all. My mom wasn't overweight either. I know it would be hard, but I would say something without losing your temper. If you scream it will instigate an argument and she may not take what you say seriously. Imagine her reaction if you just calmly told her how you feel. If this doesn't work for you, how bout the next time she does it you say "I'm not fat, mom, but you must want me to be or you wouldn't keep saying that all the time." And remind yourself every day that you are beautiful. |
