What age do guys stop peeing the bed at night?
One of my 4yr olds still wets the bed, I have her in nigh time pull ups for right now. What is the normal age that guyren stop peeing the bed at night?
My sister and my cousin wet the bed until they were 12 years old. They did stop on their own though. I think, if worse comes to worse that they will stop by the time they get their period. That's what happened to my sister and cousin. They stopped as soon as period symptoms occured. They did it on their own.

I know that if you bring this up to the doctor they have virbirators that attach to the pullups and somehow virbirate whenever the guys start to pee, it wakes them up so they can get to the bathroom and go. I know they have pullups that get cold whenever they start to pee.

Good luck and eventually everything will stop! =]
How do I stop my 8 month old dog from peeing her bed at night?
I have an 8 month old female terrier mutt who keeps peeing the bed inside her cage from time to time at night. I've stopped leaving water out all day, take her outside to pee before she goes to bed, and take away her bed when she pees in it as a punishment. Will this ever stop?
8 month is still a baby ; you can't limit water, dehydration; how about if it was you and you were thirsty? if she has to go, she has to go; can you hold it if you have to go; could be her way of punishing you?? could be medical problem; could be she is aware that you withhold WATER; could be that she is trying to gain some control even if it means to wet her bed; dogs really don't need a bed and she can be telling you, Keep it ; now for solution; leave her water out so it is not rationed; try giving her a little more freedom and praise; she is sending you a message but you are not getting it so it continues; go back to square one; forget the past mistakes and make today a new fun day; exercise, water, bedding; freedom, challenging toys, rotate them; give her something to look forward to and want to make you proud. No punishment !! reward, praise and love do wonders

The bed retains urine smell so repeat performance is possible for becoming an okay place to pee b/c you keep putting the same one back. You put the same one back (even washing may not remove) ; must be okay to pee; you are sending so many mixed signals how can she figure you out?? Dogs try to read you , your actions, your behavior etc ; you are confusion her; back to square one

Crate should be the best place in the house; she should want to go there when the door is open etc ; people who use crates as punishment and training shouldn't have a dog i.e some of the answers posted here
How can i get my daughter to stop peeing the bed?
My 2 year old daughter has been pottie trained for quite a while now, but all of a sudden, she has started peeing in her bed. But it only happens when she's at home and in her bed. My mom and dad took her on a trip for almost a week, and she did just fine. She even woke them up so she could use the bathroom. She has wet the bed every night every night since they got back. We've tried getting her up so she can go, but she still ends up doing it. Most of the time, she's awake, just laying in bed when she wets. She'll tell us that she was awake when it happened. I live with my mom for the time being, and with my work schedule, I'm not here to put my little one down for bed. My mom refuses to use pull-ups anymore since she is potty trained. What do I do and how can we stop the bed wetting?
Two years-old is pretty young to be potty trained at night.

I do wonder, though, if things are chaotic for her right now, causing her to resume wetting the bed. Having been on a week long trip without her mother, living at grandparents house, and mom leaving for work before she goes to bed. All of these things are big adjustments for a little one.

I'd suggest making accomodations so that her bed wetting isn't a big deal... diapers or Pull-ups at night, placing a pee pad and a towel under her in bed, reducing liquids a couple of hours before bed, and making sure that she goes potty right before bed. Even though your mother is taking care of her, YOU are her mother. If you want her in diapers or Pull-ups at night, she should go along with your requests.

Talk to your doctor. If he/she agrees that Pullups at night are okay, maybe your mom will relax.

She's just a little girl. Wetting the bed at two is no big deal.

Take care.
My dog has been peeing the bed only at night?
I have a dog that i adopted at 3-5mths old. She is now almost 5yrs old and has been peeing the bed alot within the past year. She only pees at night in her sleep. Why?
Hmmm. . .sounds like either a health issue or behavioral issue. I would call a vet and ask what they think first and then go from there.
Ive recently started peeing the bed when I get drunk... Why did I all of a sudden start to pee in my sleep?
I get embarrassed when I sleep next to my gf and I pee the bed. I'm only 25 and it just started happening 4-5 months ago. I know that if I stop drinking I will stop peeing the bed, but we like to go out and party, and I don't wanna hold her back because I can't drink or else I will pee on something in my sleep.
Loss of bladder control at 25 may mean either:
1. You're drinking a whole lot more than you can handle.
2. You've got some guyney damage and need to see a physician.
It certainly means that you're drinking more than you should,
whatever your condition.
Have you ever dreamt about peeing & peed the bed or know about someone who did?
This happened to my 17 year old sister last night. She said she had a dream in which she was peeing & it felt very realistic. She wanted to die from embarrassment when she realised she actually peed the bed.Has this ever happened to you or someone you know?
yea when i was 10, LOL i had to sleep in the same bed with my mom that night, so we both woke up wet!!
Why is my potty-trained dog peeing the bed?
My 11 month old dachshund has been potty-trained for months, but recently he's been peeing in the bed at night. The one time i caught him, he wasn't even standing up, like it was in his sleep? Should i take him to the vet or is it an obedience thing?
my year old lab does this sometimes. the vet checked her for bladder stones and that was clear so he said that sometimes, like people they are in such a deep sleep that they just dont wake up to go potty. it could be stones so i would take him in to see the vet.
How do I help my roommate to stop peeing the bed?
My roommate constantly pees the bed, especially when drunk. I want to help him, but I am embarrassed to bring it up because I know it is very demoralizing for him. I think this is a problem that runs in the family because I am sure his sister has the same problem. I have a feeling that if I try to talk to him about it, he will just shut down and be embarrassed. Is there medication? Is there a subtle way I can bring this topic up? Please help!

How do I get my dog to stop peeing in bed?
My chihuaha is paper trained but at night she does not get out of the bed to go potty? She also goes poop in my spare bedroom instead of the paper. What is the best method to train her? I also have a cat. Can my puppy use the litter box?
You might want to crate train her until she housebroken.
How can I stop my greyhound peeing in her bed every night?
She is a 5 year old ex racer who we adopted 2 months ago. She has settled in well apart from the occasional grumpy growl and mainly the bedwetting problem. She is let out for a pee every night before bed and we remove her water at 6 each evening.she never asks to go out during the night but pees her bed each night.
As an ex racer the chances are she simply doesn't equate your home as somewhere she has to keep clean. Most dogs in kennels pee in the kennel, and since racing greyhounds are kennelled they aren't always clean in a house environment. Also I know a lot of greyhound girls pee the bed, normally it's the more shy ones that do it.

There are two things to do here, first is to increase the amount of time she spends in the garden as an opportunity to pee. The reason here is twofold, firstly the more out time she has the less likely she'll need to pee indoors, the second is that the more you take her out and make it obvious you expect her to pee the more she'll realise peeing indoors is a big no no.

She may be marking her new territory, which is a more difficult problem to deal with. at this stage it will take patience and time to cure the problem if this is the reason she's peeing, Once she's totally settled in (six months or so) she may decide she's safe and then just stop peeing. If not you have a bit more work to do.

Try to find out if she peed in the bed of the kennel where she was before she came to you, and if the answer is no then consider changing over her bedding to whatever they use - I know this is likely to be impractical but it may not be for a long while. If that works gradually reintroduce your current bedding system along side the her kennel one, and if that works gradually take out the kennel style bedding. The reason for this is she may not realise that that is her new style bedding, she's thinks she's just using this till her 'proper' one arrives :)

For the most part tho I'd increase her time outdoors, take her for a walk last thing at night rather than just putting her in the garden. When she pees outside at ANY time give her loads of praise for it, try to get her peeing on command (which you do by saying 'be quick' or whatever when she is naturally going to go, and then praising her when she's been, pretty soon once you say 'be quick' she'll know what you mean. If you can then catch her starting to pee then you can get a 'NO!' in and immediately remove her to the garden (not forgetting to praise once she's peed out there)

Two months is not really that long, I'd give her more time and then if the problem is not sorted after say six to nine months then go to a behaviourist in your area as there may be some other underlying problem you are not aware of (hence my comment about it being the more shy greyhound girls who pee in kennels) - this of course once a vet has given her a clean bill of health.

The above advice about removing the bed could work too. Give both a try and see if anything works.
